Videograss is now shipping and should be available any day now. We got an early bootleg copy here at the office and I gotta tell you it's pretty much amazing! Shout outs to everybody in the whole dam movie because you fucking killed it!! Bennee, Bittner, Leblanc, Michilot, Dirks, Mathes, Hadar, Valaika! stand out parts (in my opinion) are Jonas Michilot (epic skate style maneuvers) and Darrell Mathes (full rounded part, strong style). I swear the rainbow comes out for this guy (No Homo) it actually did when i was watching his part yesterday, shined right onto the screen reflecting off a cd. As far as the music goes... There are NO bad songs! Best snowboard movie soundtrack I've ever heard!!! On mommas mommas!!! They used 2 songs that I sent them, LNP's Cramps song and the A-frames song from My part/Homies/Valaika's part. Big Shouts out to Justin Meyers! an instant classic!

I decided to post my throwback classic video part from F.O.D.T.'s "One Love". I feel like I need some recognition for styles I help start in snowboarding. As far as wallrides n' bmx style jumps n' so on. I was a part of that. Make our sport unique and do what you feel is right, And very most importantly have fun and make yourself feel good.

A BIG fuckin THANK YOU to Peter Tankersley who filmed this whole segment, doubled me on his snowmobile all season, took me in like family and made this thing happen. I wouldn't be where I am today without him.. Period. I owe you a hundred favors cave man. Thanks my dude!

I still can't believe this is true. Two days ago we lost a very special man here in Squaw Valley. Shane McConkey was the one of the best and most progressional skiers of his time, A local Squaw Valley Legend.

I didnt know Shane very well, but he was always just the nicest guy. I remember back in the day when I was younger he helped pull me into the smallest rail at this house in Squaw. It was like 10 stairs and was just probably the weakest rail ever.. I just thought it was rad that a professional skier like himself would take time out of his day to help a couple snowboarders hit a pathetic 10 stair.

He will be greatly missed.

Our hearts go to his wife Sherry, his daughter Ayla, and his mother Glenn.

I loved his sense of humor. He had the best imagination and came up with the coolest ideas. I wish I could find that Machete´ad he did where he starts cuttin everybodys limbs off with his ski. This is a 007 remake he did..

The night I heard the news of this tragedy I was in the Squaw Valley parking lot looking up at the stars, pondering life. I was staring up at the tram rock when all of a sudden I see the biggest and brightest shooting star I have ever seen fall into squaw. It was amazing! I freaked out it was so bright! I feel like this was Shayne's Soul flying back into his home valley. Coming home, back to the place he loved most.

Extreme Avalanche Danger!

All you tahoians be careful when youre out there gettun it today. The avalanche danger is out of hand. Heavy unstable snow caused a massive avalanche this morning at squaw in which a ski patroller was buried. He was found promptly by other patrollers but suffered a broken arm and femur.

Pick a buddy today an stick to him/her. A beacon couldn't hurt either.

Cabin Creek, Day 2. Stayin Alive

A small group of us ventured out into Cabin Creek these last two days to check out the epic powdah shred. Unfortunately it took us all day yesterday just to lay the track to get out there. 5 people on 3 sleds makes it complicated. The snow was so deep we were getting stuck left n' right. Today we finally made it out there. The snow was still amazing despite the warm temps.

We then preceded to this spot (shown in photo below) to build a jump. We were standing at the edge of this when we heard 2 deep loud thumps...my heart dropped. The whole face slid, breaking only feet from where we were standing..

Look how close it broke in front of me

The crown was as big as 6 ft. in places

Burried those trees within seconds

I can't believe we were going to build a jump into this landing. This slide had to be atleast 300 ft. wide. The jump would have been in between the 2 trees on the left. (look close and you can see where we walked out)

I'm Sooooooo happy we are all safe. Kyle, Diggles, Bor, Bosco and I.

Please be careful out there. Even with low avalanche danger for all elevations and aspects, you never know when one will crack off on you. Always stay prepared for the worst and never let your guard down.

You Can Do It Too!

We set out Sunday morning and pioneered on a journey, deep into the Sierra Nevada mountain range (location withheld for obvious reasons). Ben"Chauncy"Lynch, Kyle "KG" Georgeson, Peter "Caveman" Tankersley and I backpacked into our destination (found via Google earth) with one task in mind... build a ski in, ski out shelter that we could return to later this winter.

We ended up finding the perfect place to build this sucka, right in a small meadow that had once been struck by a small forrest fire. This way not only are there tons of great "specimens", but you don't have to feel bad about cutting down a bunch of dead trees.

What's gonna work? Teamwork.

Here, is a photo of the interior. As you can see it sleeps 6 comfortably with a small dining area.
